ADMISSION EXPERIENCE: YOU GOT IN

One of the most exciting moments for students at Beaver Country Day School happens before their first day of school:  It’s when they get their Beaver Acceptance Package. 

 

This acceptance package is a multi-layered experience updated each year, and it includes a student-directed “You Got In” celebratory video, a custom gift box with Beaver swag, and a curated website.

 

The Video

Students first learn of their acceptance to Beaver through an email on March 10. This email links out to the You Got In video—which can best be described as a celebratory music video. The video started my second year at Beaver nearly 8 years ago—and it has evolved to incorporate student choreographers, dancers, and videographers. I am currently the Video Producer and Creative Director, overseeing the final edit and managing all external relationships on the project.

Accept Box

The accept box is more than a package of swag; it’s a custom-designed experience that arrives in students’ mailboxes a few days after receiving their acceptance email and video. Colorful, bright, vibrant, and brimming with Beaver-branded items, it captures the fun, student-centered energy of Beaver.

Going beyond the celebration, we lay out the next steps for enrollment on a website specifically for newly accepted families. This includes Revisit Day information, enrollment details, and behind the scenes from the You Got In video.
